DTY: Draw texturing yarn. Also known as polyester low elastic wire, it is continuous or simultaneous stretching and texturing of a finished product on a machine.
FDY: Fully drawn yarn. Now it is widely used as the code name of the spinning stretch one step process, but it has nothing to do with the production process. It can be made by low speed spinning and high speed winding, and these two processes are completed on one machine. The production cost is low, the quality of the finished product is stable, the yarn breakage is few, and the dyeing uniformity is good. The DTY fiber is curly, but the FDY fiber is straight.
